New take on old favourite is full of fun

WITH a 50th Birthday to celebrate, Attic Theatre has chosen an all-new pantomime for 2007.

Snow White follows the well-worn formula of audience participation, fun, slapstick and familiar characters and puts them into a new setting - roughly based on a traditional storyline.

With no dwarves around to join the fun, you may be forgiven for thinking (sic) that this show is political correctness gone mad. However a line-up of circus performers step in to save Snow White from her arch enemy, the Wicked Stepmother.

The youngsters in the audience may have a little trouble with the story, but this show is full of songs they will recognise and special effects to stun and mystify.

There are also confident performances galore from the talented cast.

With imaginative staging and some fast-moving choreography to boot, this may not be a traditional Snow White - but it never fails to entertain.
