DANGEROUS Corner is an intriguing, challenging
and altogether welcome change for this company better known in
recent years for pantomimes and musicals.
Director Helen Ogilvie, recently returned to
Aberdeen from the Middle East, puts a lifetime of stage experience
to good use in this gripping evening of theatre that gathers pace
constantly, while twisting towards its conclusion.
Alan Rennie's set captures the 1930s period of
JB Priestley's piece, and provides the backdrop on which this
gripping drama can unfold.
A cast drawn from Attic's past and present put
their own stamp on a play that provides the perfect springboard for
their talent.
This is surely Attic at its best. See it until
Friday.
