With some catchy songs and staging effects of
pyrotechnics and suspended glitter balls, the audiences were
captivated by the fairytale story of Cinderella who meets and
marries her Prince Charming. Many thanks to David Johnston
and Pete Thomson for their hard work and enthusiasm in directing
the Panto. Attic Theatre would also like to thank the
production team and cast of "Cinderella" for all their hardwork
and treating Aberdeen audiences to another very enjoyable Attic
Panto.
Once upon a time, there was a young girl
called Cinderella, who lived happily with her father, Baron Hardup.
They had once been rich, but the Baron had hidden the family
treasure in a very safe place, in case they were robbed. He
married again, and Cinderella was very excited about having a
Stepmother.
Little did the Baron realise that his new
wife was after only one thing – his money. But before she
could get her hands on the treasure, the Baron took ill and died –
without telling anyone where the treasure was hidden!
Cinderella’s Stepmother was furious, and took it out on the poor
girl – and when the time came for her to meet her two Stepsisters,
things got even worse.
Now her only friend in the world was her
faithful childhood pal, Buttons. Then one day, news came
that the Prince had come of age and had to find a wife….
