A Chorus Line

24-28 April 2001

Director: David Johnston
Musical Director: Jean McLeod
Choreographer:
Sharon Gill

After the successful sell out of “Fame – The Musical”, the cast of Attic is now facing an ever bigger challenge by staging the hit show  “A Chorus Line”!  One of Broadway’s longest running musicals, A Chorus Line tells the story of a group of young, high energy performers who audition for the chorus of an unknown musical.  Ultimately, the group of hopefuls will be cut down to a lucky eight. Zach, the director, asks the candidates to tell him something about themselves, and it is through their stories that we get to know each of the performers on an intimate level, and which helps Zach decide on the final elimination.

Featuring well-known songs such as “One”, ”Tits and Ass” and ”Nothing” it will certainly be a show people will recognise and with the same Production team as “Fame” ( Directed by David Johnston, Choreographed by Sharon Gill and Musically Directed by Jean McLeod) the show promises to be a thoroughly glitzy performance!
