High-energy Chorus Line is a show worth seeing

A CHORUS Line is one of those classic modern musicals that makes you want to get up and strut your stuff.

Attic Theatre's production which opened at Aberdeen Arts Centre last night is so exuberant and energetic it exhausts you just sitting watching it.

The young talented cast are absolutely ideal for such a physically demanding show.

As it boiled and bubbled, with each cast member literally giving their all, the audience were entranced.

Complex dance routines were handled with ease and flair thanks to the obvious hard work of the cast and choreographer Sharon Gill.

Showstoppers At The Ballet and What I Did For Love were delivered with powerful vocals and slick musical direction from Jean McLeod and her brilliant orchestra.

Director David Johnston should give himself a big pat on the back for creating such a fabulous show.

A Chorus Line runs at Aberdeen Arts Centre until Saturday and is thoroughly recommended
