EVERYONE must know by now what to expect from the outrageous Attic
Theatre panto. Each December, droves of sweet, innocent
children are delivered to Aberdeen Arts Centre for a monster
helping.
For
the following fortnight anxious parents fret about the glazed look
in their offsprings' eyes. Eventually, when their voices
return to normal, the kids tell them how they were forced to scream
and shout until their hair stood on end.
It is
also a fact of life that the Attic panto audience gets louder every
year.
Last
night, during the opening performance of Cinderella, a squad of
Mannofield Brownies attempted several times to storm the stage -
which means that the event is a spectacular hit.
Fiona
Lussier is a charming Cinderella and Craig Scott is excellent as
Buttons. Pauline Chambers is stunning as the wicked
Stepmother.
