THE Attic Theatre has yet again produced a winning panto formula.
Sleeping Beauty opened at the Arts Theatre to a capacity audience.
As
always, the cast production team and musicians have struck exactly
the right note with an action-packed performance which appeals to
children of all ages.
Perhaps the secret of their success is due to the fact that all the
performers thoroughly enjoy themselves and involve children in every
mad-cap adventure and sing-along.
Good
special effects and slap-stick humour add to the entertainment.
Children are transported into the magic world of traditional panto
by the wicked fairy Snapdragon, Jokin' Johnny, Dora the Cook, Dobbin
the horse and Patch the Cat.
Princess Beauty and Prince Splendid were well played last night by
Claire Foster and Debbie Boyd.
Is
this panto at its very best? Oh yes it is!
